there's been a lot of duscussion about supporting non-DOM legacy browsers, which NS4 is.
My opinion is this:
Make your pages so that they will
display without CSS or DOM. I said display, not look good. Make them
readeable for legacy systems. Don't forget that this is a point of accesibility also. Some alternative modes of access don't do CSS or DOM.
A small critique about the
UserLand CSS Theme Alwin uses:
NS4.7 displays only a blank page in background color. Other, similar designs at least display the main test w/o fancy layout...
