Doug Miller has a thoughtfull post on
Tinderbox and comments. He says that it should be easy to integrate content from Tinderbox with any existing 'comment engine'. I absolutly agree. Tinderbox ist not a weblog-engine or system, but it can very nicely produce and manage weblog content. An idea would be to build a very simple (file based) comment/blog engine in say PHP which could be distributed as a sample Tinderbox file with some (PHP) templates. This system should be drop-dead simple to install (no MySQL setup etc.)... well actually I'm currently using just such a system right here. Homegrown and all.
