garret dumped some good pointers and advice into my inbox re: Newtons.
- The Newton FAQ
- grant hutchinson, over at splorp: he's as close to a resident expert as you can get. [and this is not the same FAQ as before]
- a short model history: "the
progression went 100, 120, 130, 1000, 2000, 2100. the 130 was the first
with a backlight"
So now at least I know why you can get an 110 or 120 for the price of a simple meal on eBay...
So my question is now: which model is ok to get a feel for the Newton? I'm not sure I want to go for a 2000 (which would be about 800-1000 DM currently)
What I think is really suprising is the number of Newtons you can find on eBay currently.
