Traumwind - to Google-API or not to

after playing around with the SOAPy complexity of the Google-API the only reason of using it - instead of simply parsing the well known and defined HTML-output - is the fact that I can and must include my KEY. That gives me the 'right' to programmatically access the Google output. Using the HTML-Output in this way could very likely get you blocked.
