Curt is looking for a brainstorming rage of ideas of how to best spread his free eBook-in-writing, which in turn will advertise and further the awareness of his for-purchase eBook(s)...
So go over there and let your juices flow! I'll post my 2cent right here...
- post it as a manifesto on ChangeThis.com (obvious?)
- send a personalised copy (with name etc) to each of your PassionKey subscribers, with the suggestion to send them on to freinds etc as a gift
offer to personalize PDFs with peoples names (website form) so I could get a copy personalized for my mom with her name in it...
- offer a (small) price reduction for people ordering your (for pay) eBook through your free eBook (coupon)
- maybe only grant that coupon only ONCE per personalized copy of the free eBook (serial number checking), so people would want to get their own free copy
- post exerpts from one of the books as blog entries at regular intervals, marking them clearly as such (link to buy/download)
- put the free eBook online in HTML form also, so poeple can link to relevant pieces, also don't forget search engines!
- offer a hand-signed printout version (print-on-demand?) for a price? Or as a very special first-day offer?
- read one page/paragraph/chapter per week and post the audio (podcast)
- suggest that other bloggers do the reading and send in their audio...
