A discussion evolves on Susan's site about the 'ethics' of hotlinking vs. copying images. There's a valid argument for hotlinking in there actually. Copying an image to the own server is maybe even more 'theft' than hotlinking (and stealing bandwidth that way). Thinking about it I guess the real point is this: show respect and give credit!
Never, NEVER use an image from another server w/o linking back to the source!!
