So, you might ask, where was Martin traveling all alone? and, more specificaly, WHY?

Well, that banner above is one answer. I was giving a workshop about ambient background tracks for roleplaying games and other uses.

This builds very much on what I was doing for my "Joy Of Noise" page. Kind of a hands-on course in using the power of a standard laptop (Serenity, my MacBook) to produce theme setting athomspheric soundtracks and other "noise". And also on how to do that in a way that can enhance a roleplaying session, which is basicaly storytelling and as such can't use noisy music...

I will be expanding on that theme here and elsewhere, in live sessions and also pod/vidcast format sometime in the future :)
