a story in six words


Here is a good exercise in triggering imagination with only a few (six) words: Six Word Story

I don't need to tell you that I really love the idea. I chimes well with my notion of "Limitation as a creative tool"

Here os the story I gave a friend as na example, which lead him to find the above link with the six word story: "The girl on the beach cried. I took her hand." You may say that this not much of a story. But it most likely has triggered some images and emotions in your head just the same. I am quite sure ou heard the surf, and maybe even some sea birds. Notice I didn't metion any of that. That's the power of this technique. Triggers,
